Pediatric Pelvic Health: An Overview and General Treatment Strategies

This virtual talk will discuss common pediatric pelvic health related diagnoses with an overview of anatomy, common diagnoses, treatment and prognosis. The most common diagnoses treated include constipation, encopresis, urinary incontinence, dysfunctional voiding, and enuresis. Biofeedback training, behavior modification, and addressing musculoskeletal impairments are the main areas of focus for physical therapists.

CEUs: This course is approved for 1.5 credit hours.

Presenters: 

Taylor Fogarty, PT, DPT, OCS - Dr. Taylor Fogarty is an Orthopedic and Pelvic Health Physical Therapist who works for Children's Hospital Colorado specializing in pediatric and adolescent orthopedic medicine. She is a Board Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist and is the lead therapist for Children’s pelvic health program. She has a special interest in treating patients with pelvic health concerns and getting them back to the activities that they love. She has presented locally and nationally on these topics.
