Hands on in the Hospital - Manual Therapy in Acute Care Part 1

This presentation will provide attendees with evidence-informed teaching about the use of manual therapy as an intervention in the acute care setting. This course will review myths and barriers, indications and contra-indications, and key decision-making strategies, to prepare you to use manual therapy interventions in this setting. The second session will include hands-on technique practice to ensure that therapists feel prepared to go directly from the course to the bedside with new knowledge and confidence. The case-based, interactive presentation will be delivered in a lecture and hands-on lab format, with teaching assistants available to guide students and answer questions.
