This presentation is designed to challenge physical therapists to practice at the top of their license in order to create a Healthcare 3.0 mentality focused on primary prevention across the patient/client lifespan.  A summary of the current poor state of mental and physical health of our population will be presented along with how our modern medical industrial and agricultural industrial complexes have contributed to the U.S. becoming a sicker population.  Fortunately, the tools to reverse this our well known and supported by evidence or informed by it.  The role of the physical therapist must dramatically shift to that of a trusted health advisor and coach, while continuing to provide exceptional hands-on and movement based interventions.  This presentation will place a mirror on our medical industry and challenge each of us to create change for the health of our communities.
